"1947 Knucklehead"Howard Allred bought this Knucklehead motorcycle new from Sparky’s Harley-Davidson in Greensboro, North Carolina. In 1953 it was sold to Vernon Moore who worked for the Western Union in Asheboro. Moore used the motorcycle to deliver telegrams throughout the community. The motorcycle was restored by the artist and his students during the antique motorcycle restoration course he offers annualy through Randolph Community College. The motorcycle resides in the American Classic Motorcycle Co. museum.
